Planning the work
Inspection planning starts with the purpose of the survey: a condition record, a targeted check or support for an agreed survey programme. Hull areas and underwater fittings are identified before attendance so that image records and observations can be matched to the requested scope. Any class involvement or approval requirement must be established for the particular job.

Underwater inspection questions
What information is needed for an underwater vessel inspection quotation?
Please provide the vessel name and particulars, port or anchorage, draft, preferred attendance dates and the areas to be inspected. Include any owner or class reporting requirements so the scope can be reviewed before mobilisation.
Can you inspect propellers, rudders and sea chest grilles?
These underwater fittings can be included in the agreed visual inspection scope. Access, visibility and operating conditions are reviewed for the vessel and location. Our vessel references include selected photographs of propellers and external sea chest grilles.
Are you a Türk Loydu approved service supplier?
Derin Deniz Denizcilik ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi holds Türk Loydu service supplier approval for in-water surveys of ships by divers. Certificate 2607301124371247 is valid until 2 August 2029, subject to its conditions and approved personnel scope. Class attendance and acceptance requirements must be agreed for each assignment.
Do you accept enquiries for projects outside Türkiye?
Yes. Please share the country, port or site, planned dates and scope. Mobilisation, access, local permissions and other project requirements are assessed for the particular assignment.
